NUTRIENTS (N, P AND K) DYNAMICS ASSOCIATED WITH LEAF LITTER OF Albizia saman AND Leucaena leucocephala OF BANGLADESH

Albizia saman and Leucaena leucocephala are not native to Bangladesh, but they widely planted in agroforestry households for their commercial value. Selection of tree species with efficient return nutrients is a vital challenge maintain soil fertility sustainable crop production. Therefore, comparative study was conducted on (N, P K) leaching from leaf litter A. L. laboratory condition. The initial dry weight were significantly (p<0.05) decreased 17% 26%, respectively at the end (after 96 hours) experiment. showed comparatively (t-test, p<0.05) higher rate loss, conductivity TDS (Total Dissolved Solid) water. Comparatively, amount N K released leucocephala. Both similar pattern (K>N>P) nutrient release during process concentration these significant negative curvilinear relationships loss.
